Lucky Rabbit's Foot
WASL Washington Assessment of Student Learning starts on Monday.
We've got our chewing gum,
we'll be using Brain Gym to stimulate our minds,
the baroque music is playing,
we'll be wearing the right colors,
and hopefully the correct scent...
All we need now is our lucky rabbit's foot.

We start our state testing next week as well. Thanks for the great ideas. Love your idea about the assessment coordinator. Our testing is for 3rd and 4th grade so the K-2 teachers plan everything. Theme this year is "Great Test Scores 'Popping Up' All Over" Popcorn theme with popcorn buckets full of survival items. The day before testing we do a "cheer tunnel" and all the K-2 kids line the halls and cheer for the kids and teachers as they get on busses. Try to make it as motivational as possible. I'll have to think of all our ideas and get in my blog! Thanks for sharing.
